I was born in Stuttgart in 1939 and have lived in Ottobrunn since 1969.

Since my early retirement I have found the time to try out my artistic inclinations in Munich.

After a phase of orientation with computer technology, drawing, chalks, oil pastels, spraying tech­nology with stencils, painting in acrylic and watercolor, I found to sculptures.

After trying sculpture with stone, later on I switched to sculpturing in wood. In my sculptures I try to capture and integrate both growth and structure of the material and to bring texture into effect.

It is important for me to express feelings and attitude, small part details are less important to me.
