I was born in Munich in 1968 and grew up in Ottobrunn.

Complementary  to my profes­sio­nal activity as a physicist, I paint. draw and make music.

Ideas and inspiration come from within or through observation of my daily environment.

I call the painting technique of 2004  

The (two) Blue Lines

It bases of  two lines  drawn at the same time with a single hand. The lines are made of felt-tip pencils and a post processing of the resulting cut surfaces with a large range of colored pencils.

The motifs of my pictures from 2004 are characterized by curved lines, unusual shapes and fresh colors.

The subjects are faces, animals or abstract.

Painting Technique  
„The (two) blue Lines“

In my drawings of the creative period 2004 I used a technique very often
 I call this drawing technique

„The (two) blue Lines“.

It is a combination of  (in most cases) double  line composition  from felt-tip pencils with a following filling the created cut surfaces with colored pencils.

1. Take two felt-tip pencils (mostly blue ) in one hand at the same time.
2. Before start of drawing  single line think about how to start the motion of the pencil. with the two pens at the same time. (round, curved, square, zigzag, …)
3. Start to draw a line in a single turn (w. two pens).
4. WHILE drawing the (double) line think about how to finalize it  (round, curved, square, zigzag, …) continue and end the drawing as you feel.

5.Afterwards start to hatch the intersected cut sur­faces with a (if available large range) of colored pencils

6. At this moment the resulting image is unknown.

7. While hatching cut-surface for cut-surface,  rotate the paper-sheet around again and again until you see the (resulting) image n(like a face an animal or an abstract image, ... )

8, Then work out the Drawing up to the end.

The result are very smooth, compliant  lines and shapes that surprise me again and again. 

You might have noticed, I value that my drawings and shapes are not to be filled to the edge of the picture.
